• All passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• We use Supabase Auth with industry-standard security protocols.
• Session tokens are stored securely and expire automatically.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile page.
• We will never sell your account credentials or personal data to third parties.

Data We Collect

• Account data: Email address, display name, and optional profile photo — only if you register.
• Favourites: Your saved stations list, synced to our database when you're logged in.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data about which stations are played — never tied to individual users.
• Local storage: Recently played stations and favourites are cached locally on your device for offline access.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not serve personalised ads based on your listening habits.
• We do not share your email with third parties for marketing.

Children's Safety

Gaana Vana is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us at thezentroxx@gmail.com and we will promptly delete the account.

Third-Party Streams

Radio streams are provided by third-party broadcasters. Gaana Vana does not control the content of these streams. If you encounter content that you believe is harmful or inappropriate, please report it to us and we will review whether to remove the station from our directory.

Reporting Concerns

If you have a safety concern, encounter abuse, or need to report inappropriate content, contact our safety team at thezentroxx@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 24 hours.
